When gathering ingredients for this candy board, you’ll want to consider what your guest’s favorite game-day snacks are. At Chez Foodie, we love SNICKERS® Minis, M&M'S® Peanut candies, and SKITTLES® Original candies.

What Should I Include On My Football Candy Station?

Fruity Candy: My standard rule of thumb is to pick at least one fruity candy. For this station, I’m including SKITTLES® candies. The perfect assortment of lemon, strawberry, green apple, orange, and grape. Orange has been my favorite flavor since I was a kid. Don't be surprised if you see that flavor disappear quickly.

Savory and Sweet: SNICKERS® Minis and M&M’S® candies are a tailgating tradition, so for savory/sweet, I’m using SNICKERS® Minis and some M&M’S® Peanut candies for some sweet peanut goodness!

How Do I Lay Out My Candy Station?

Like every good football coach, a good candy station requires a game plan. Start the layout of any candy board by placing the larger objects first. In this case, the bowls. From there I like to make each guest their own cup full of goodies. I also like to keep the extra candy close by. Getting up to refill something could mean missing an important play or funny commercial!

Adding Some Football Flair.

To add an extra festive touch to this football candy station, add some true football elements! I got these small football flags, napkins, cups, and bowls at my local party supply store, as well as a small field goal post. They added the little football flair I needed.
